Little Luna was born December of 2018. She landed at the shelter after an unfortunate incident with a small child that was taunting her. The child was ok, but because Luna didn’t have her rabies vaccine, she had to go the shelter. When her family tried to claim her, their landlord told them they weren’t allow to have a dog. Luna has been settling in foster care and each day her personality comes out. She is a happy, fun girl that LOVES to play fetch. Luna has an adorable curled tail and weighs in at 43 pounds. We were told she lived previously with a small dog. She will need slow intros to new dogs, or would enjoy being the only lady in your life. Little Luna likely didn’t get tons of exposure to other dogs outside of her housemate. She did great meeting a dog savvy cat! Luna is housebroken and is getting more comfortable in her crate. She is generally calm in the house and doesn’t chew anything up. If she gets a chance to jump on your bed, she’ll go crazy and throw herself into the blankets! When her foster family has visitors, she does great and is very sweet. She is a champ in the car and would love to join you on any adventure! Luna allows her foster mom to trim her nails, clean her ears, and check her teeth. We are working on getting her more comfortable at the vets office - it’s a scary place! Like any newly adopted pup, she will benefit from continued training and socialization to help her blossom!
