Riggs was found as a stray and brought to Chicago Animal Control, but his owners never reclaimed him. It appeared he had been stray for a bit as he was covered in burrs, had ear infections, and had a very dirty coat. Riggs is a very big boy weighing in at 100# and is estimated to be between 6 and 7 years old. He is a very sweet, sensitive boy. When he first arrived at his foster home he was afraid to use the stairs or explore much, but each day he gains confidence. He is extremely affectionate and loves when his foster mom has visitors so he can get lots of attention! Riggs is good with other dogs and is being fostered with another German Shepherd. He hasn’t been around cats. Riggs would do best in a home without small children.
