The first step in our adoption process is to complete an application. You will receive a confirmation email once your application is submitted. <\/span><\/p>\n GSR only adopts to applicants in the Chicagoland area.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The adoption application applies to all available dogs in our rescue. You will be contacted by a volunteer of the rescue ONLY<\/strong> when we have a dog available that matches your requirements. If you do not hear from a volunteer, that means the rescue does not have a suitable match currently available for adoption. All applications are kept on file for 3 months.<\/span><\/p>\n If a volunteer contacts you regarding your application, a meeting with your family and the dog in our rescue will be arranged.<\/span><\/p>\n References checks and a home visit will be completed prior to finalizing an adoption.<\/span><\/p>\n
